FAQ

Welcome to our FAQ page! Here you'll find answers to some of the most common questions we receive about Grace + Love Christian Counseling. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Is therapy right for me?

I believe anyone can benefit from therapy so long as you have the right fit between counselor and client and readiness in your heart for personal growth and reflection. I would love to have a conversation to find out if I am a good fit for your need and how I can help!

I’ve never been to counseling, what should I expect?

My hope is that you find a welcoming and safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. My desire is that we form a trusted and collaborative relationship and work toward your personal goals. While I understand everyone’s life journey is unique, I believe the sacred space of healing truly begins when you allow God to be a part of the process. You can expect a listening ear, a genuine heart, and at times reflection and challenge for you to grow!

+What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept all major credit cards, cash, and check payments. This includes FSA and/or HSA cards. I am out-of-network for insurance, however, I can provide a billing receipt that you may submit for your reimbursement. However, you will have to Initiate and complete that reimbursement process on your own.  I do not handle insurance-related issues myself at this time.

What do I need to do to move or cancel my appointment?

You can use the scheduling link on the “make appointment” tab to reschedule appointments. The cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice or you will be charged for the session.

Do you work with kids?

No, but I do work with parents. I firmly believe that a parent is the most important person in a kid’s life. No one will have more impact. Let me come alongside you and help you help your kids.
